Escenic strengthens management – increased focus on sales
Oslo, May 22, 2008: The Board of Escenic AS has appointed Knut I. Skeid as the company’s new CEO. The company’s co-founder and CEO for 9 years, Oyvind Orbak, has moved to Boston, USA and will focus 100% on the important American markets.
Knut I. Skeid was presented at a company meeting yesterday, and he will assume duties immediately. Orbak will continue as the CEO for Escenic Inc. in USA and will be the mother-company’s second in command. Orbak is in addition a substantial stockholder and board member of Escenic AS.

Skeid (51) has over the last four years been active within the PR-company 2020 Communications AS, both as partner, consultant, chairman of the board and large owner. He founded the online newspapers Nettavisen.no and Netzeitung.de, was the project manager and editor of the startup of the financial daily Finansavisen, editor of Computerworld and journalist in the publications Kapital and Økonomisk Rapport.
