Escenic Analysis Engine
Escenic Analysis Engine (EAE) is a tool for logging and tracking statistical information based on visitors usage of Escenic web sites. EAE consists of a Logger module, for logging and storing data, and a Query Service module, an API framework for querying this data and generating real-time or historical reports.
Escenic Analysis Engine provides real-time traffic statistics, enabling a site's administrators to answer questions such as:
- How many people are reading my story right now?
- What is the most popular content?
- How has this information changed during the last minutes, today, the last week, or some other period?
Escenic Analysis Engine adds statistics information as an integrated part of Escenic Content Studio. Content producers are presented with near-realtime traffic numbers for all articles, enabling them to manage adjust and tune the website based on the popularity of content. If a story on the frontpage loses traffic, it may be updated, replaced ot moved. As all infomration and operations are done within Escenic Content Studio, this work can be done quickly and efficiently.
Escenic Analysis Engine can be configured to log many different user actions on the website, making it easy to create automatically updated lists for the most read, most commented, most emailed/tipped, etc. All statistics data are stored in a separate SQL database, and the included JSP tag library may be used for creating custom reports based on specific requirements.
Escenic Analysis Reporter
Escenic Analysis Reporter is an add-on reporting interface application to the Escenic Analysis Engine,
This module's powerful and user-friendly reports can be generated on the fly, giving detailed realtime information about which content and which parts of the website is more popular.
This is a very useful tool for adapting the website to the visitor's needs and interests, in realtime if necessary.
