Escenic Event Engine
A powerful, fast and flexible solution for maintaining event calendars.

With Escenic Event Engine you can open up venues and artists for event organizers to contribute content regarding their events. Easy search for local, national and global events is a great way to boost readership.
Escenic Event Engine provides the necessary tools to do this by:
- Managing all kinds of events, venues and artists in an advanced, flexible, organized manner.
- Presenting the events in a variety of ways and channels with Escenic templates and XML feeds.
- Providing an extensive venue and artist database to save time and prevent errors.
Event Engine Studio
The Event Engine Studio is a custom made Java application designed specifically for managing event calendars. This application provides the most effective way of working with events, and also provides functionality for combining the events with other content, such as articles, images and video, in the Escenic Content Engine.
The application is designed for the most effective and user-friendly way of managing:
- Events
- Event groups, such as festivals
- Venues, including venues with multiple stages
- Artists
- Artist groups for instances where a member of a band also has a solo project
All data for events, venues and artists are stored in the Escenic Content Engine, thus making it possible to connect event content with all other content. The application provides search functionality, both for text and multimedia files.
Other features
- User-friendly, configurable and responsive user interface
- Tight integration with Escenic Content Engine and existing content
- Advanced repetition support, including a calendar interface for non-pattern repetitions
Event Engine Web Studio
The Event Engine Web Studio is a light-weight interface aimed at external contributors and occasional users. Web users are allowed to create events, edit their existing events, add multimedia files, etc. They do not have access to content other than that created by them, and they do not have access to the Escenic Content Engine in the same way as with the Event Manager Studio application.
Privileged users, such as venue organizers and concert promoters can be given publication rights, bypassing the moderation step, and requiring less work from the editorial staff. Other users can not publish directly, but will need to have their events approved (and perhaps edited) by the editorial staff.
