Menu Editor
Create menus independently of the underlying content hierarchy and provide multi-language menus.
The Menu Editor is a GUI tool for managing a web site's navigational structure, independently of how the content is organized in sections inside Escenic Content Engine.
Menu Editor can be used to:
- Present a page deep down in the section hierarchy as a top-level menu item
- Prevent some sections to appear directly in menus
- Create multi-lingual menus and manage language-specific navigation in the same interface
The Menu Editor provides an easy to use interface for managing the underlying XML describing the site's navigational structure, thus making it straight-forward to work with the core code for providing functionality in Escenic Content Engine.
Menu Editor can be extended based on special requirements, and it contains a specialized JSP tag library and a comes with a Template Developer's Guide.
