Escenic Content Studio 5.0-2 includes several minor enhancements, and improvements to some of the guides.
5.0-1, October 2008
Escenic Content Studio 5.0-1 enables writers and editors to complete all work, including more peripheral tasks within the same work space. Advanced personalized search and information panels are also integrated, enabling each individual writer or editor to have continuously updated external or internal feeds and information directly on their own screen.
The new focus of allowing the writer and editor to complete all their tasks without having to leave the Escenic Content Studio work desk has been strengthened. To extend this even further for the multimedia specialists, editing in dedicated expert tools have become a seamless operation. For more advanced editing of e.g., images in Photoshop, simply click on a button in Escenic Content Studio 5.0, edit the image, and the changes are automatically saved back into the work space-

4.3-4 , January 2009
A maintenance release of Escenic Content Engine 4.3, including the following improvements:
- Improved Responsiveness of Content Studio
- Support for Microsoft Active Directory 2003
- Import and Export Improvements
- tested on Tomcat 6 and Java 6 (JDK 1.6)
- Other smaller bug fixes and improvements
4.3-3, March 2008
Escenic Content Engine 4.3-3 contains some major enhancements and a long list of improvements and bug-fixes. Major changes include a new article list implementation, support for thousands of sections, deploy configuration in the EAR, updated third-party libraries and improvements to the XML import and export.
4.3-2, October 2007

- The main new feature of Escenic Content Engine 4.3 is file system independence for web applications
- A new Assembly Tool for building the Escenic Content Engine enterprise application "engine.ear" and the web applications
