New features
Some of the server-side enhancements coming in Escenic Content Engine 5 are already present in 4.3 and upgrading to 4.3 is a big step forward in terms of performance and stability enhancements.
Content Studio has a new, built-in video editor, making it possible to set in and out points, preview the video, and choose a preview picture. Video content can be served from a separate streaming server.
Escenic Content Studio is fully integrated with the advanced text-proofing tools from Tansa Systems. Unlike other spelling tools, Tansa proofreads your content by looking at the words in context, making it capable of checking not only the spelling of words, but also the usage of words and the style of your writing.
New in version 4.2: Completely new Escenic Web Studio. Based on extensive user testing and feedback, the Escenic Web Studio received a major overhaul, making it a more responsive and effective content management tool.
New in version 4.2: Escenic Content Studio is started with Java Web Start. This makes the installation of Content Studio as easy as clicking a button. There is no need to perform upgrades or installs at the editorial staff’s computers, Content Studio 4.3 automatically keeps itself up-to-date.
