Escenic Forum 2.0-1
Escenic is pleased to announce that the Escenic Forum 2.0-1 release is now available for download at Escenic Technet.
This is the initial release of the Forum plug-in for the 5.0-x version of Escenic Content Engine. Escenic Content Engine 5.0-6 or later and Lucy plug-in version 4.0-2 or later is required for for this version of the Forum plug-in.
The forum plug-in is a framework for managing various types of postings from external users.
Highlights in this release
- The PostingForm has been split into several specialised Struts forms: PostingForm, CommentForm, ComplaintForm, QuestionForm and AnswerForm.
- Added a new demo web application to show integration between forum and user profiles.
- The Forum administration functionality has been removed from Web Studio.
Escenic Forum 2.0-1 was released in June 2009.
