Objective
Learn about the Escenic Content Model and the different components used in creating an Escenic web site.
Training elements
The Escenic Template course covers:
- the Escenic beans and structure
- the Escenic Tag Libraries
- the Escenic template system
- coding methods and best practices
- advanced template concepts
Prerequisites
It is important that course participants have:
- completed the Content Studio user training
- experience in JavaServer Pages (JSP) development
- knowledge of web development
- basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
The Template Development course can be held at Escenic Headquarters. However, if the customer perfers the course to be held at their location, it is expected that the Escenic system will already be installed on their own server. This can be considered an advantage because the site for the training course is then relevant to the customer. Alternatively, the Escenic Instructor can bring a portable course server.
